Godfrey Pembroke – Building on Strength
Godfrey Pembroke has been providing expert, tailored financial advice to individuals and companies since 1995, following the merger of two of Australia’s largest financial planning groups: Godfrey Weston (established 1981) and Pembroke Financial Planners (established 1986).
In July 1999, Godfrey Pembroke was purchased by MLC, then in April 2000, MLC became part of the National Australia Bank Group, Australia's largest bank.
A year later, the National Australia Bank acquired Deutsche Bank’s financial planning and portfolio management businesses, which was merged with Godfrey Pembroke Financial Consultants, adding further to the group's experience and expertise.
Today, Godfrey Pembroke encompasses more than 170 consultants offering financial planning services to individual investors, small businesses and corporations. Godfrey Pembroke has offices in all state capitals and in most large regional centres throughout Australia.
As a group, Godfrey Pembroke has approximately $10 billion of funds under management on behalf of over 20,000 clients.
Godfrey Pembroke is an Australian Financial Services Licensee, a Life Insurance Broker and a Principal Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA).
